Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism announced the first batch of its revolutionary cultural relics on March 29th， with a total of 1018 immovable revolutionary cultural relics and 2810 movable ones. Among them， the immovable revolutionary cultural relics include 33 national key cultural relics protection sites， and the Tingsiqiao campaign site of the Northern Expedition was selected.
The Tingsiqiao campaign site， located in Tingsiqiao Town， Xian’an District， was recognized as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council in January， 1988. Xian’an District invested in the memorial construction of Tingsiqiao campaign in November， 2006. The memorial opened on November 4， 2009， and was declared a national patriotic education demonstration base by Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China in May， 2009.
Hubei Province has strictly carried out the “Opinions on the Implementation of the Revolutionary Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Project (2018-2022)，” issued by the General Office of Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council Office.In accordance with the relevant requirements and standards of the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the situation of revolutionary cultural relics resources in Hubei Province， Hubei comprehensively sorted out and carefully checked the revolutionary cultural relics， solicited the opinions of the Publicity Department of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Party History Research Office of Hubei Provincial Party Committee， and finally decided the first batch of revolutionary cultural relics.(By Wang Ranyu/Xianning Daily)
