On　March　30th，　the　Damushan　Tunnel　in　Huangshapu　Town，　Tongshan　County　was　successfully　connected，　which　laid　a　solid　transportation　foundation　for　the　early　operation　of　the　Damushan　Pumped　Storage　Power　Station　and　for　Tongshan　to　become　a　＂green　energy　town＂．　It　also　injected　strong　impetus　into　the　rural　revitalization　of　the　region．

The　Damushan　Tunnel　is　the　most　crucial　part　of　the　dedicated　road　for　the　Damushan　Pumped　Storage　Power　Station．　The　tunnel　is　665　meters　long　and　adopts　the　technical　standards　of　a　fourth－class　highway．　The　roadbed　is　8　meters　wide　and　the　pavement　is　7　meters　wide．　After　its　completion，　it　will　become　the　core　transportation　link　connecting　the　power　station　with　the　outside　world．　Since　the　construction　began　on　December　6，　2024，　facing　complex　geological　conditions　such　as　caves　and　faults　in　the　area，　the　project　construction　party　has　always　adhered　to　the　principle　of　＂safety　first　and　quality　foremost＂，　optimized　the　construction　plan　and　strengthened　on－site　management．　Through　shift　work　and　meticulous　safety　control，　multiple　challenges　such　as　complex　geological　conditions　and　high　construction　difficulty　were　overcome，　and　ultimately　a　safe　and　efficient　breakthrough　was　achieved．

The　successful　breakthrough　of　the　Damushan　Tunnel　will　completely　open　up　the　key　channel　for　the　power　station＇s　external　transportation，　providing　a　solid　transportation　guarantee　for　the　subsequent　construction　of　the　underground　powerhouse，　water　conveyance　system　and　other　main　projects，　helping　the　power　station　to　advance　the　construction　progress　ahead　of　schedule　and　strive　to　achieve　power　generation　as　soon　as　possible．　（Xianning　Daily／Wang　Simin）
