On　July　20th，　the　Xianning　Avenue　westwards　to　Tinggu　road　was　officially　completed　and　opened　to　traffic，　marking　that　the　full　connection　of　the　west　extension　of　Xianning　Avenue，　completely　eliminating　the　traffic　congestion　in　the　westward　direction　of　the　urban　area　and　improving　the　regional　road　network　layout．

The　road　is　2.676　kilometers　long　and　is　built　to　the　standard　of　a　two－way　four－lane　first－class　highway．　Previously，　citizens　traveling　from　the　urban　area　to　Chibi　and　Jiayu　via　Xianning　Avenue　had　to　detour　via　the　West　Outer　Ring　Road，　which　was　very　inconvenient　for　travel．　After　the　road　was　opened　to　traffic，　the　urban　main　roads　were　seamlessly　connected　to　Tinggu　road　and　the　new　No．107　National　Highway．　It　can　save　10　to　15　minutes　of　driving　time，　fundamentally　solving　the　travel　pain　point　of　the　public　having　to　take　detours　and　run　around．

According　to　the　director　of　Xianning　Municipal　Transportation　Bureau，　the　completion　of　this　road　is　not　only　a　result　of　the　joint　efforts　of　multiple　parties　to　overcome　a　difficult　problem，　but　also　a　road　to　happiness　that　benefits　thousands　of　households．　Looking　to　the　long　term，　this　road　connects　the　city＇s　main　roads　with　the　expressway　network．　After　the　completion　of　the　South　Outer　Ring　Expressway　and　Xianning－Chongyang　Expressway，　the　rapid　interconnection　between　the　north　and　south　will　be　realized，　ensuring　smooth　circulation　of　people，　goods　and　vehicles　in　the　city．　It　will　help　Xianning　deeply　integrate　into　the　Wuhan　Metropolitan　Area，　optimize　the　urban　development　pattern，　and　inject　transportation　impetus　into　the　high－quality　development　of　the　region．　（Xianning　Daily／Pang　Yun　and　Mao　Yaxuan）
