On　August　3rd，　the　Xianning　Municipal　Bureau　of　Commerce　announced　the　list　of　the　first　batch　of　＂Xianning　Time－honored　Brands＂　recognized．　A　total　of　14　local　characteristic　brands　in　the　city　were　successfully　selected．

The　14　brands　on　the　list　this　time　cover　six　counties　and　districts　in　Xianning，　involving　multiple　traditional　industries　familiar　to　the　common　people　such　as　catering，　grain　and　oil，　tea，　wine，　medicine，　specialty　food　and　agricultural　products．　The　selected　brands　from　each　county　（district　and　city）　are　as　follows：　the　Yulong　Legend　brand　of　Chibi　City，　Hesheng　lvning，　Heshengqiao　Heping，　Zhengzong　Liu　and　Xiangyanghu　four　brands　in　Xian＇an　District，　Luo　Yaogu　brand　of　Jiayu　County，　Furun，　Jiujingfeng，　Zhijiaolou　and　Daoxinglong　four　brands　in　Tongcheng　County，　Junhuan　and　Zhongwang　two　brands　in　Chongyang　County，　Xianjing　Fushui　Lake　and　Yangchun　Garden　two　brands　in　Tongshan　County．

The　entire　selection　process　was　open，　fair　and　impartial．　In　accordance　with　the　relevant　recognition　and　management　measures，　after　voluntary　application　by　enterprises　and　preliminary　review　and　recommendation　by　the　commerce　departments　of　each　county，　district　and　city，　the　Xianning　Municipal　Bureau　of　Commerce，　in　collaboration　with　multiple　departments　including　culture　and　tourism　and　market　regulation，　conducted　a　comprehensive　review　and，　after　public　announcement　without　any　objections，　finally　determined　the　first　batch　of　selected　candidates．

The　＂Xianning　Time－honored　Brand＂　has　strict　selection　criteria：　the　brand　history　must　be　30　years　or　more，　featuring　the　local　cultural　characteristics　of　Xianning．　The　products，　techniques　or　services　should　have　both　economic　and　cultural　value．　It　should　have　a　good　reputation　and　strong　representativeness　within　the　industry　and　be　widely　recognized　by　society．

The　recognition　of　the　first　batch　of　＂Xianning　Time－honored　Brands＂　this　time　will　further　protect　and　support　the　local　established　and　characteristic　enterprises　in　Xianning，　inherit　the　local　traditional　craftsmanship　and　distinctive　flavors，　enhance　the　reputation　of　local　brands　in　Xianning，　and　drive　the　development　of　local　characteristic　consumption．　（Xianning　Daily／Zheng　Qiang）
