Hubei Tongshan Yinshui Cave Geological Park located in the nuclear power center of Tongshan County --- Dafan town is the first geological park in Hubei Province. The cave is 5,158 meters in length, and it’s big in scale, magnificent in momentum with an average height of 30 meters and width of 25 meters. In the Cave there are stalactites. The anthropomorphic objects shape lifelike, the valley and flowing water reflects each other and the waterfall and cave blend. Yinshui Cave has a very rich underground streams karsts landform and geological landscape, thus has great tourism development and scientific research value. Yinshui Lake developed smoothly, and invested about 10 million yuan in open diversion channel, hole road and dam project which have been completed, and was opened to tourists in 2005. It is 130 kilometers away from Wuhan City, and 7 kilometers from the upcoming construction of the first inland nuclear power plant. The geological park has convenient transportation with obvious advantahes. It can be accessible to Xianning and Wuhan in the north, to Huangshi and Jiujiang in Jiangxi Province in the east, Nanchang in Jiangxi Province in the south, and west to Chongyang, Chibi and connected with the Beijing-Guangzhou railway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, thus is also accessible to Yueyang and Changsha in Hunan Province. The completed construction nuclear power special highway passes through the entrance of the Cave, and the two highways Da (qing) – Guang (zhou), Hang (zhou) -- Rui (li) are connected 800 meters from the entrance to the cave, forming the traffic network to all directions, which belongs to one of the “one line” and “two circles” in the development of tourism industry in Tongshan County of Xianning City. It is a bright star of the Hubei tourism industry. The tour of Yinshui Cave is divided into three parts: the upper reaches which accounts for 1/3 touring by boat, the middle reaches accounting for 1 / 3 by small train, and the lower reaches accounting for 1 / 3 on foot in order to have a close contact with the ancient and mysterious karsts landform. It is a unique way to travel in Asia.
