  XIANNING - The Standing Committee of Xianning Municipal Party Committee (Enlarged) Meeting on Thursday deliberated and adopted slogan and logo for urban brand positioning.

  The joint research group formed by the Propaganda Department of Xianning Municipal Party Committee, relevant departments directly under municipal government, and Tsinghua University Urban Brand Research Office, implemented Xianning city image recognition system planning formulation.

  Xianning city image recognition system planning formulation is divided into six parts: concept identity system, behavior identity system, visual identity system, sound identity system, environment identity system, publicity and promotion planning.

  Xianning urban brand positioning is one part of city concept identity system, and the final slogan is the city of osmanthus fragrans and hot spring, a cozy Xianning.

  The main content of Xianning city visual identity system is city logo, and its final design drawing is the shape of map of Xianning formed by ribbon, having formative images of natural landscape and showing image features of fluctuant hot spring; the whole shape is like a bird, highlighting brand concept of Xianning as landscape elf; the point at top right corner of Chinese character “咸” is changed into the shape of osmanthus fragrans, representing the city of osmanthus fragrans; its color chooses blue (spring water), orange-yellow (osmanthus fragrans), and green (ecology), in keeping with characteristics of Xianning city.
