According to the latest statistic data, the industrial value added of Xianning enterprises above designated size increased by 1.4% year on year in July, registering positive growth for 3 consecutive months. Output value of 23 out of 34 industries in the city achieved growth, accounting for 67.6% of the total, and that of 624 industrial enterprises registered year-on-year growth, 64.1% of the total industrial enterprises above designated size.

Industry support has steadily strengthened, while emerging industries are growing well. In July, value added of high-tech manufacturing rose by 25.6%, 24.2 percentage points higher than that of industrial enterprises above designated size; computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry grew by 19.4%, while pharmaceutical manufacturing industry 68.9%.

Industrial investment gained momentum steadily and many projects began constructionintensively. Hele Doors intelligent engineering gate production project stage II and other 123 major projects began construction, with total investment of 32.79 billion yuan. From January to July, the decline in industrial investment and investment in technological upgrading continued to narrow, dropping by 54.5% and 68.7% respectively.

Key indicators picked up steadily, and the city's industrial and economic activity increased significantly. The added-value tax grew rapidly: it fulfilled industrial added-value tax of 230 million yuan in July, an increase of 44.4%; sales-output ratio increases month by month: that of industrial goods of enterprises above designated size reached 98.4%, 1.3 percentage points higher than the previous month and 1 percentage point higher than the same period last year.

Industrial growth rose again steadily in the counties or districts. In July, industrial value added registered positive growth in the counties or district except Tongshan and Chibi among seven counties or districts (including Xianning High-tech Zone) of Xianning, with a strong atmosphere of competition and surpassing others.
