Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology awarded the plaque to those enterprises approved as national green factory, including 7 ones from Xianning, such as Hubei ASA Ceramic Co.,Ltd. During the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan, Hubei province had created a total of 53 green factories, and the number of green factories in Xianning is second only to Wuhan, ranking the second in the whole province.

These 7 enterprises are as follows: Hubei ASA Ceramic Co.,Ltd, Xianning CSG Glass Co.,Ltd, SunWin (Hubei) Electronic Technology Co.,Ltd, Hubei Hangrui Ceramics Co.,Ltd, SCIMYTH Honeysuckle Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd, Xianning CSG Energy Efficient Glass Co.,Ltd, and Xianning CSG Photoelectric Glass Co.,Ltd.

Green factory is the production unit of the manufacturing industry and the implementation subject of green manufacturing. It belongs to the core support unit of the green manufacturing system and focuses on the greening of the production process. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology launched the construction of green manufacturing system in September, 2016, guiding enterprises to create green factories, green products, green parks and green supply chains according to the requirements of green manufacturing evaluation. They carry out the recommendation of green manufacturing list every year, and have announced five batches of green manufacturing list by 2020. Hubei province gives a one-time award of 1 million yuan to the demonstration enterprises won the national green factory.

According to Xianning Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the city will further strengthen the application of green factory cultivation. With the theme of promoting high-quality development, it gives priority to ecology and promotes green development, focusing on industrial structure adjustment, energy and resource conservation, pollution reduction and carbon reduction, clean production, comprehensive utilization and green manufacturing, to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in the city.
