　　Yesterday, the reporters got news that the municipal government made pronounces that the forest industry and sheet materials enterprises should be developed reasonably, so newly-building, expansion and reconstruction of the forest industry and sheet materials projects must be attested and examined by the Forest Resources, or the formalities related can’t be done.

　　According to the relevant provisions of the national industrial, the city will strictly control the access of the project and raise the threshold. Forestry departments of the county and above should determine the scale and layout of the local forest industry and sheet materials enterprises according to the forest resources, deforestation limits, the source of timber of the local and surrounding areas. All the newly-building, expansion and reconstruction of the project in the permitted investment area, if fail to go through the check and examination of the forest resources by forestry departments of the city and above, then they can’t get relevant certificate formalities from the Industry and Commerce, planning, land, quality and Technology Supervision Administration. All levels of government and the Forestry Department will increase the supervision of the forest industry and sheet materials enterprises according to the spirit of 《Announces about strengthening the management of industrial raw materials and timber cutting》.

　　It is reported that the municipal government will organize all levels of government and the relevant departments such as, Industry and Commerce, planning, land, quality and Technology Supervision Administration and so on to sort out and consolidate on the sheet enterprises and construction projects of the city's Forest Industry. If without the approval of the municipal and authorities relevant in the city, or the document production and management of enterprises and construction projects are banned according to the law, and will be punished in accordance with rules related.

　　According to reports, forestry enterprises of the city develop rapidly and the number of the city's forest industry enterprises has increased to 480, coming into being artificial boards, bamboo and paper, forest food and other special industries. In 2005, it produced 85,000 tons of paper pulp, 220,000 cubic meters of wood-based panels, 4000 tons of bamboo shoots. The forestry output value reached 2.5 billion yuan. At the same time, a number of high consumption appeared which is not conducive to the health of development and resource protection. Experts analyzed that the measures taken by the city aim at using the existing timber resources reasonably and mainly support the leading enterprises and get close to the leading enterprises in aspects of administrative examination and approval, information consulting, raw material forest base construction. Through attracting investment, limiting the small enterprises and supporting the big enterprises, weeding the inferior and helping the superior, improving technology and instrument levels, optimizing the industrial structure, stabilizing the total output, improving the quality and level of the products, the city propelled the forest industry and sheet materials enterprises to develop towards the direction of scale and intensive economy, persisting in the course of sustainable development.
