XIANNING - Xianning Economic Development Zone on Monday held 2014 work conference and project construction mobilization meeting. Municipal leaders: Ding Xiaoqiang, Cheng Qunlin and Zhou Yong attended the meeting.

　　This year Xianning Economic Development Zone will strive to fulfill total industrial output value of 12 billion yuan and industrial added value of 2.7 billion yuan; plan to organize 80 industrial projects to begin construction or put into operation, start 3 new city projects, promote 3 industrial estate projects, and start 8 industrial park projects.

　　Ding Xiaoqiang (Deputy Secretary and Mayor) required that Xianning Economic Development Zone should give full play to leading role to take investment promotion as priority among priorities: aim for the target to expand level and improve quality to introduce major projects with high scientific and technological content, strong driving ability and big comprehensive contribution; speed up infrastructure construction at high standard: make its scale bigger, make its function stronger and make its image more excellent; strengthen service to speed up cooperation with financial department to solve financial problem to guarantee construction of industrial parks.

　　Ding stressed that it should pay high attention to the role of entrepreneurs to firmly establish the concept of “industry first and entrepreneur as leader”: optimize entrepreneurial environment and improve service level to make the development zone become the most desirable industrial park for entrepreneurs. It should strengthen fine management and service and follow connotative development road. It should save land to focus on project investment intensity, revenue intensity, industry chain length, and environment protection degree; save funds to improve fund application benefit; and strictly administrate team construction to improve cadres’ ability to do pioneering work, making the development zone play a bigger role in economic and social development of Xianning.
