XIANNING - The reporters on Friday learned from Xianning Economic Development Zone that both production and marketing thrived in Xianning Economic Development Zone and the major economic indicator exceeded greatly that of the same period last year, achieved “good start” in this January.

　　The data shows that in this January Xianning Economic Development Zone fulfilled total industrial output value of 800 million yuan, rising by 21% year-on-year; industrial added value of 216 million yuan, rising by 18% year-on-year; tax revenue of 190 million yuan, rising by 56.1% year-on-year.

　　According to Wang Yongxin, deputy director of Administration Committee of Xianning Economic Development Zone, in the face of the complicated and ever changing external environment, insufficient effective demand, and economic downturn pressure Xianning fully promotes the strategy of “industrial rise” to accelerate development of industrial enterprise.

　　The development zone focused on production and dispatching to guarantee growth: a batch of enterprises (such as CSG Glass) put into operation; a batch of middle and small-sized enterprises grew into large enterprises; a batch of enterprises became high and new tech enterprises; making a positive contribution for “good start”.

　　Municipal Party committee and municipal government hold project construction on-the-spot meeting every month in which relevant functional departments, such as water supply, power supply, planning, land, and environment protection participated to discuss problems in construction. 30 departments directly under municipal government “tied the knot” with 30 enterprises in the development zone: developing the spirit of “day plus night, workdays plus weekends” to provide one-to-one quality service for enterprises.

　　In order to relieve labor shortage under the strong support of relevant departments directly under municipal government the development zone helped enterprises to recruit about 1000 worker through job fair, issuing recruitment information in website, publishing special edition for recruitment in the media directly under municipal government, etc.

　　At present enterprises’ production is good in the development zone: the 42 large enterprises successively resumed production from the fifth day of the first lunar month; 90% enterprises were in production state by the tenth day of the first lunar month; all enterprises began regular production after the Lantern Festival; Xianning CSG Glass Co., Ltd continued to produce during Spring Festival, and Red Bull, CSG Glass, HOPEFULL, and other key enterprises basically began full production.

　　The development zone is actively organizing “industrial project focusing on going into operation in the first quarter”: 15 industrial projects, such as JIAYU Curtain Wall, Taiyu Electronics, Huayang, Jissbon, Tri-ring Motor Steering Stage II and III, Youbang Stage II, and etc. plan to begin construction in February or March.
