At　the　meeting，　China　Railway　Fifth　Survey　and　Design　Institute　Group　Co．，Ltd．　reported　the　planning　and　research　of　the　railway　project．　Nanchang　City　and　Xianning　City　respectively　conducted　in－depth　communication　and　exchanges　on　the　functional　positioning，　construction　necessity，　progress　and　relevant　suggestions　of　the　railway　project．

Both　sides　agreed　that　to　advance　the　railway　project　is　a　concrete　practice　to　implement　the　spirit　of　the　important　speech　of　general　secretary　Xi　Jinping　at　the　Symposium　on　Further　Promoting　High－Quality　Development　of　the　Yangtze　River　Economic　Belt．　It　is　the　common　needs　and　joint　actions　to　further　promote　the　interconnectivity　of　transport　facilities，　speed　up　the　construction　of　comprehensive　and　three－dimensional　transport　corridors，　fill　the　gap　in　the　road　network　of　the　two　places，　promote　more　convenient　travel　between　the　two　places，　more　smooth　economic　ties　and　closer　social　ties，　and　promote　the　high－quality　economic　and　social　development．　It　is　also　the　backbone　line，　intercity　line，　connection　line，　common　prosperity　line，　and　the　line　for　＂the　rise　of　the　Central　Region＂　that　connect　the　two　places　and　serve　the　overall　situation，　which　has　a　strong　necessity　and　urgency．
