At the end of the opening ceremony, all the CPPCC members and attendance without voting rights were divided into 8 groups for group discussion, to seek the high-quality development of Xianning in the afternoon on Jan 11.

In light of their actual work, the CPPCC members expressed their opinions freely on such aspects as consultation and deliberation on state affairs, democratic supervision and improvement of people's livelihood.
