When it came to the ripe season, the harvester began to harvest 93,000 mu of early-season rice in Chibi.

On July 15, the harvester was busy running and then unloaded the rice to a big truck in the 1000 mu demonstration field of double-season rice in Lali Mountain Village, Liushanhu Town.

This year, the planned area of early-season rice planting in Chibi is 92,000 mu while the actual planting area totals 93,000 mu. It is expected that the yield of early-season rice will reach 359 kg per mu this year, with a total output of 33,400 tons.  (Photo by Lv Rong/Xianning Daily)
