Recently，　construction　workers　were　working　on　the　side　slope　of　Tiezhugang　River　in　Shinan　town　of　Tongcheng　county．

The　Tiezhugang　River　comprehensive　treatment　project　began　in　this　May，　mainly　including　dredging　of　river　channels，　protection　of　bank　slope，　demolition　and　reconstruction　of　embankment　buildings，　with　more　than　12　kilometers　in　length．　The　main　project　is　expected　to　be　completed　by　the　end　of　this　year．　At　that　time，　it　will　greatly　improve　the　flood　discharge　and　irrigation　capacity　of　the　Tiezhugang　River　and　benefit　the　people　on　both　sides　of　the　river．　（Xianning　Daily／Xia　Zhengfeng）
