The cherry blossoms across Gexian Mountain in Guantangyi Town, Chibi City, ushered in their full bloom on March 22nd. Stretching for miles like clouds and mist, the blossoms attracted numerous citizens and tourists to come and enjoy the scenery, fulfilling a romantic spring rendezvous.

Gexian Mountain stands at an altitude of 642.7 meters and boasts 24,000 mu of naturally growing wild cherry blossoms, making it one of the largest origins of wild cherry blossoms in Hubei Province. The main species of wild cherry blossoms is Cerasus serrulata, known for its beautiful flower shapes and rich colors, which possess great ornamental value. These blossoms are mostly distributed in valleys at an altitude of 400 to 600 meters.
