Islands　are　scattered　all　over　in　Daxi　National　Wetland　Park　of　Tongcheng　County，　where　deep　mountains　and　lush　forests　are　picturesque，　attracting　many　tourists　to　visit．　The　total　area　of　the　park　is　931.97　hectares，　among　which　the　wetland　area　is　442.84　hectares，　with　a　wetland　rate　of　47.5％．　It　is　known　as　the　＂lung　of　Tongcheng＂．

In　recent　years，　Tongcheng　County　has　been　deeply　practicing　the　concept　of　green　development，　giving　full　play　to　the　utilization　of　the　reservoir　chief　system，　river　chief　system　and　forest　chief　system，　intensifying　the　protection　of　water　resources　and　wetland　resources，　and　continuously　enhancing　its　ecological　conservation　capacity，　so　that　the　number　of　aquatic　plant　communities　and　birds　is　increasing，　which　is　effectively　promoting　the　integrated　development　of　local　ecological　agriculture　and　forestry，　agricultural　tourism，　and　sightseeing　industries．　（Liu　Jianping）
