On July 28th, cabbage seedlings in the single-span greenhouses were lush and verdant at the intensive vegetable seedling nursery center of Jinrun Agriculture in Panjiwan Town, Jiayu County, with over 50 farmers busy adding nutrient soil to seedling trays and sowing seeds.

"Our seedling nursery center covers an area of 150 mu. It mainly raises seedlings on behalf of some surrounding large-scale growers, cooperatives, as well as those in Jingzhou, Jingmen, Yichang, etc. Since we started raising seedlings on July 1, over 100 greenhouses have been fully stocked with seedlings, covering a planting area of more than 8,000 mu," introduced Zhang Jianjian, deputy general manager of Hubei Jinrun Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.
