A total lunar eclipse visible across the entire country graced China's skies from midnight on September 7 to the early hours of September 8, with a rare "blood moon" making an appearance.

Many tourists and photography enthusiasts gathered early by the lakeside of Yunzhong Lake on Jiugong Mountain,capturing the entire process of this seldom-seen celestial event. A photography enthusiast from Wuhan said, "Watching the blood moon amidst the beautiful scenery of Yunzhong Lake is like being in a fairyland. It's the most captivating performance by nature."
