The main venue of the 2026 National Fitness Day in Hubei Province was launched on August 7 at Xianning People's Square under the theme of "Promote Fitness for All, Empower a Better Life."

Five featured functional zones were set up at the event site, namely, national fitness performance zone, public welfare sports lottery benefit zone, scientific fitness service zone, sports-commerce-culture-tourism integration zone, and sports intangible cultural heritage inheritance zone, attracting a large number of citizens to come and experience.  The series of events will continue with diverse supporting activities such as public tournaments, free training sessions, fitness education, and sports-tourism experiences.
