On Sep 12th, good news came from the 2018 Fortune Global 500 in converse with Hubei (Xianning) Investment & Cooperation Promotion Meeting that the first project in Hubei, invested by one of the Fortune Global 500, Germany Fresenius Group, is about to settle in Xianing city.

Fresenius Group, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, ranking the 298th in the world, is a medical care company providing dialysis, pertinent products and services for the hospital and the in-home medical care of the patients.

The director of the government affairs department of the Fresenius Group, Ms. Man Yu told us how this company made friends with Hubei province and Xianning city: in Feb 2018, Fresenius Group investigated in Hubei and signed an agreement of deepening investment and strategic cooperation with the Hubei provincial government, planning to establish an independent hemodialysis center in Hubei, the object of which is to cover a dozen of cities in Hubei province. In Apr, the responsible people of this project came to investigate Xianning in the flesh in a bid to be well acquainted with industrial layout and market environment of Xianning city, and have an in-depth cooperation communication with pertinent departments.

“The project in Xianning will be the first project to settle in Hubei province.” Man said, “Xianning is in possession of an advantageous geographical position, beautiful environment, and ample talent resources. We see the vast market demands, terrific industrial foundation and a rather strong human resource allocation in Xianning, all of which will offer strong industrial and talent support to us, and attract us to invest in Xianning and devote ourselves to the construction of Xianning.”

The Fortune Global 500 is an indicator of the global economic development, and a major driver to the economic development. So far, 276 enterprises of the Fortune Global 500 have settled in Hubei province, making Hubei rank the top in Central China. Besides, 38 of Fortune Global 500 enterprises have settled in Xianning.
