In Xiong Shengwang’s home, a poverty-stricken family of Team 6 of Hebei Village, Guanbuqiao Town, Yang asked in detail Xiong’s family information and income. Chen Xingrong, a villager of Team 1 of Zhanggongmiao Village, Guanbuqiao Town, suffered from poverty due to rheumatoid arthritis. In 2018 Chen’s total hospitalization expense was 40 483 yuan, and She paid 4724 yuan herself, with 8.4% of self-paid ratio yearly. Yang inquired after Chen’s physical condition and treatment recovery with concern. He was very pleased after found Chen was self-confident and optimistic.

Yang said that to launch targeted poverty alleviation is a project in the public interest by the Party Central Committee in the new era. For those disadvantaged group fell into poverty because of illness or lost labor capacity, we should further do a good job in the research of support for them, implement classified poverty relief and targeted poverty alleviation, and timely solve production and living problems for poor families, letting them enjoy the warmth from the Party and government and shake off poverty as early as possible.
