Construction of Tongcheng Sports Park has kicked off on February 19.

Tongcheng Sports Park is one of the key projects for public well-being in Tongcheng County， and it is also a landmark project to continuously improve the cultural and sports infrastructure and better serve the citizens. The project faces Yuli Avenue in the east， Shangyuan Road in the south， Tongcheng Avenue in the west and Gongyuan Road in the north， with a total investment of 520 million yuan， a construction period of 3 years， a use period of 50 years， and a land area of 549 mu.

It plans to build a stadium with 10， 000 seats， a comprehensive gymnasium with 3000 seats， a gymnasium with 1500 seats for swimming， tennis and badminton， eight multi-functional sports fields and a sports ground for the youth.

The project is the largest and most fully functional complex of stadiums under construction in Xianning. After completion， it will greatly improve the level of hosting sports events， art performances， conferences and exhibitions in Tongcheng County， adding a new cultural tourism card and an Internet-famous place in Tongcheng， and energize the high-quality economic development of Tongcheng.
