Xianning held training courses to promote the high-quality tourism development

The city's tourism high-quality development training class opened on May 19. Nearly 100 professionals in the cultural tourism industry and leaders of major scenic spots gathered in the Luobo Commune of Gaoqiao Town in Xian'an District to learn and exchange experience in the tourism development and promote the high-quality development of the city's tourist attractions.

Associate professor Li Huiqin from China University of Geosciences gave the first class with the topic of "Interpretation of the Standards of Famous Towns, Villages and Streets of Tourism in Hubei Province and Thinking on the Design of Rural Tourism Products". The vivid and down-to-earth explanation benefited the trainees a lot, which focuses on such four respects as the construction status of famous tourist towns (villages and streets) in Hubei province, the interpretation of the standards of famous tourist towns (villages and streets) in Hubei province, the design of rural tourism products--the integration of agriculture, culture and tourism, and the innovation of rural tourism services.

Yan Ping, head of Tongcheng Chinese Rose Garden scenic area, said, “I am very glad to be here for this training. Through learning and communication, I can see the shortcomings of our scenic spot and the direction of improvement.”

The three-day training is sponsored by Xianning Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and organized by the School of Economics and Management of Hubei University of Science and Technology. The teaching content includes the standard for A-class scenic spot creation and secondary consumer product design thinking, the thinking on scenic spots products supply in post-pandemic era and the brand construction process guidance, the explanation on filling in A-class tourist scenic spot management system, the safety production of scenic spots, the construction and standardized management for mother-and-child facilities in scenic spots, the theme publicity on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, etc.
