On　Nov　28，　the　Xianning　municipal　government　and　Hubei　Port　Group　signed　the　cooperation　framework　agreement　of　Xianning　Yangtze　River　Integrated　Gateway　Port，　marking　a　substantive　and　key　step　in　the　cooperation　between　the　two　sides　and　opening　a　new　chapter　of　mutual　benefit　and　win－win　results．　Yang　Jun，　deputy　secretary　of　Xianning　Municipal　Committee　of　the　Communist　Party　of　China　and　mayor，　Fu　Minggui，　secretary　of　the　Party　committee　and　president　of　Hubei　Port　Group　Co．，Ltd．，　He　Xianli，　deputy　secretary　of　the　Party　committee　and　general　manager　of　Hubei　Port　Group　Co．，Ltd．　witnessed　the　signing　and　discussed　together．

At　the　symposium　Yang　Jun　said　that　the　port　is　a　valuable　resource　for　urban　development　and　a　driving　force　for　high－quality　economic　and　social　development．　With　128　kilometers　of　Yangtze　River　coastline，　Xianning　has　superior　conditions　for　developing　shipping　and　port　economy．　The　gateway　port　is　an　important　project　connecting　the　development　of　the　Yangtze　River　Economic　Belt，　and　concerning　the　＂century－long　plan＂　for　Xianning＇s　high－quality　development．　It　is　of　great　significance　for　Xianning　to　speed　up　the　construction　of　modern　logistics　system　with　low　cost　and　high　efficiency，　and　improve　the　level　of　opening－up　and　service　ability．

Yang　also　said　that　the　prosperity　of　Xianning　port　is　inseparable　from　the　strong　support　of　Hubei　Port　Group．　It　is　hoped　that　the　two　sides　will　take　the　signing　of　the　cooperation　framework　agreement　as　a　new　starting　point，　and　adhere　to　high　standard　positioning，　high　level　design，　and　high　quality　implementation　to　build　the　gateway　port　into　a　national　first－class　demonstration　port　in　accordance　with　the　＂investment，　construction　and　operation＂　integration　concept　and　mode，　so　as　to　provide　hard　support　and　strong　drive　for　Hubei　Province　to　build　a　pilot　area　for　new　development　pattern　in　the　whole　country，　and　for　Xianning　to　build　a　natural　ecological　park　city　in　Wuhan　metropolitan　area．

Head　of　Hubei　Port　Group　said　the　signing　of　this　cooperation　framework　agreement　marks　that　the　cooperation　between　the　two　sides　has　entered　a　stage　of　substantive　development．　The　Group　will　actively　integrate　into　local　economic　development，　do　a　good　job　in　the　implementation　of　various　work，　accelerate　the　implementation　of　projects，　and　work　together　to　create　a　new　situation　of　mutual　benefit　and　win－win　results．
