Hubei　Provincial　Development　and　Reform　Commission　on　Tuesday　publicized　the　list　of　Hubei　county　characteristic　industrial　clusters　in　2024，　including　the　life　and　health　industry　cluster　in　Xian＇an　District　of　Xianning．

The　selected　industrial　clusters　will　be　supported　in　the　central　and　provincial　budgets，　medium－　and　long－term　national　debt，　special　funds　for　manufacturing　and　other　project　funds．

Life　and　health　industry　is　one　of　the　emerging　industries　in　Xian＇an　District．　At　present，　the　cluster　has　a　total　of　117　life　and　health　upstream　and　downstream　enterprises，　covering　biological　medicine，　functional　food，　other　health　manufacturing，　medical　care　and　other　fields．　A　group　of　leading　biomedical　enterprises　with　innovation　and　market　competitiveness，　such　as　SCIMYTH　Pharmaceutical，　Jianxiang　Biology，　promoted　the　agglomeration　and　development　of　the　biomedical　industry　chain．

Chinese　medical　herbs　and　health　food　bases　developed　on　a　large　scale：　the　planting　area　of　traditional　Chinese　medicinal　materials　in　the　district　exceeds　8，000　mu，　the　planting　area　of　osmanthus　flowers　is　60，000　mu，　and　the　tea　garden　is　100，000　mu；　while　the　pharmaceutical　distribution　service　industry　prospered：　the　district　has　Sinopharm　Group，　Zhenao　Medical　Trade，　Sinopharm　Pharmacy，　Jinzhu　Biological　Medicine　and　other　pharmaceutical　business　enterprises　above　designated　size，　with　annual　revenue　of　807　million　yuan．

In　2023，　the　industrial　scale　of　life　and　health　cluster　in　Xian＇an　District　exceeded　14　billion　yuan，　woth　the　operation　revenue　of　over　10　billion　yuan．　The　overall　development　momentum　is　on　the　rise，　and　it　has　been　rated　as　the　provincial　new　industrialization　industrial　demonstration　base　in　2023．　（Xianning　Daily／Du　Peiqing）
