The　13th　Xianning　Aesthetic　Education　Festival＇s　excellent　artistic　performances　show－－＂China　in　the　Voice　of　Children＂　Vocal　Music　Special　Performance　on　Thursday　was　held　in　Xiangcheng　Grand　Theatre　of　Xian＇an　Cultural　and　Sports　Center．　Liu　Zhiyi，　vice－chairman　of　CPPCC　Xianning　municipal　committee　and　chairman　of　Xianning　Federation　of　Literary　and　Art　Circles，　attended　the　event　and　the　award　ceremony．

Twenty　programs　from　the　teachers　and　students　teams　in　six　counties　（cities　or　districts），　including　chorus　and　solo，　were　staged　in　turn．　The　beautiful　music　won　applause　from　the　audience．　The　excellent　artistic　programs　of　this　year＇s　aesthetic　education　festival　were　one　of　＂Ode　to　the　Motherland＂　the　12th　＂Xiangcheng　Grand　Stage＂　series　mass　cultural　activities．　The　performance　will　last　for　3　days，　divided　into　vocal　music　competition，　instrumental　music　and　recitation　competition，　dance　and　drama　（traditional　Chinese　opera）　competition．　Earlier，　the　Xianning　Municipal　Education　Bureau　selected　355　artistic　programs　submitted　by　various　localities　in　preliminary　contest，　and　a　total　of　65　programs　entered　the　finals．　Through　the　exhibition，　25　programs　will　be　selected　to　participate　in　the　13th　Hubei　Yellow　Crane　Aesthetic　Education　Festival　held　in　Xiaogan　City．

In　recent　years，　the　city　attaches　great　importance　to　the　work　of　aesthetic　education，　creating　a　true，　good，　beautiful　and　upward　campus　cultural　atmosphere，　and　focusing　on　enriching　the　spiritual　and　cultural　life　of　students，　so　that　the　characteristics　of　the　schools　continue　to　be　highlighted．

The　activity　is　co－hosted　by　the　Propaganda　Department　of　Xianning　Municipal　Party　Committee，　the　Work　Committee　for　Organizations　directly　under　Xianning　Municipal　Party　Committee，　and　the　Xianning　Municipal　Education　Bureau．　The　aim　is　to　educate　people　with　beauty，　influence　people　with　beauty，　and　cultivate　foundation　with　beauty．　It　also　aims　to　improve　the　school　aesthetic　education　mechanism　for　everyone，　guide　students　to　establish　a　correct　aesthetic　sense，　cultivate　noble　aesthetic　sentiment，　and　train　socialist　builders　and　successors　with　all－round　development．　（Xianning　Daily／Zhang　Huan）
