The　fun　sports　competition　of　the　Third　Sports　Meeting　of　Xianning　（the　fun　sports　competition　of　the　sixth　government　office　staff　sports　meeting）　on　Thursday　was　held　in　the　Xianning　National　Fitness　Center．　Liu　Hongmei，　vice－chairwoman　of　the　CPPCC　Xianning　Municipal　Committee，　attended　the　opening　ceremony．

619　staff　from　40　representative　teams　across　the　city　took　part　in　the　competition．　There　are　team　events　and　individual　events　in　the　competition．　The　former　includes　fancy　rope　skipping，　synergistic　movement，　advancing　side　by　side，　and　tug　of　war；　the　latter　includes　river　crossing　by　stones，　running　around　the　pole，　land　curling，　and　one－minute　pickleball．

The　synergistic　movement　event　tested　personal　speed　and　teamwork．　Players　must　race　against　time　with　accurate　steps　in　the　event　of　advancing　side　by　side，　and　they　should　coordinate　waist　strength　and　arm　strength　when　playing　land　curling．　On　the　competition　field，　the　athletes　desired　to　be　second　to　none　and　raced　against　the　clock，　showing　hard　work　and　vitality．　The　audience　was　also　immersed　in　the　enthusiasm　of　the　field，　cheering　and　shouting，　with　laughter　one　after　another．　The　game　scene　was　exciting　and　full　of　passion．
