According　to　the　leading　group　office　of　the　Osmanthus　City　of　China，　the　logo　of　the　Osmanthus　City　of　China　was　officially　released　to　the　public　on　November　18，　and　it＇s　recommended　to　use　in　public．

Xianning　is　the　only　officially　named　＂Town　of　Osmanthus　Flower＂　in　China．　Building　the　Osmanthus　City　of　China　is　a　major　development　strategy　determined　by　the　municipal　Party　committee　and　municipal　government．　In　order　to　vigorously　promote　the　image　of　the　Osmanthus　City　of　China　and　boost　its　construction，　since　last　year　the　leading　group　office　of　the　Osmanthus　City　of　China　organized　related　team　to　design．　After　investigation　and　research，　collective　design，　soliciting　opinions，　social　publicity，　and　leadership　approval，　the　final　logo　of　the　Osmanthus　City　of　China　was　determined．　Based　on　the　historical　heritage　and　realistic　characteristics　of　Xianning　osmanthus　culture，　the　logo　took　osmanthus　flowers　and　ancient　osmanthus　tree　as　the　main　design　element，　combining　the　symbols　of　hot　spring　water，　the　horse－head　wall　of　the　ancient　dwelling　in　southern　Hubei，　and　the　human　figure　with　open　arms　welcoming　friends．　The　logo　interprets　the　concept　of　green　development　of　Xianning　and　spreads　the　vision　of　the　Osmanthus　City　of　China　integrating　a　city　of　science　and　technology，　an　ecological　city，　a　cultural　city　and　an　industrial　city．　It　also　shows　the　unique　charm　of　Xianning　and　the　good　image　of　inheriting　culture，　openness　and　inclusiveness，　and　vigorous　development．
