The　Hot　Spring　Industry　Development　Seminar　of　the　12th　Xianning　Hot　Spring　Cultural　Tourism　Festival　was　held　on　November　20．　Zhang　Ting，　member　of　the　Standing　Committee　of　the　Xianning　Municipal　Party　Committee　and　vice　mayor，　attended　the　meeting　and　made　a　speech．

Zhang　pointed　out　that　in　recent　years，　the　municipal　Party　committee　and　the　municipal　government　have　attached　great　importance　to　the　development　and　protection　of　hot　springs，　integrated　the　hot　spring　tourism　industry　into　the　health　industry　to　develop，　and　unveiled　the　first　substantive　local　regulation－－Xianning　Geothermal　Resources　Protection　Regulation　to　fully　enhance　the　reputation　and　influence　of　hot　springs　of　Xianning．　In　2023，　the　city＇s　eight　hot　spring　tourist　attractions　received　more　than　730，000　tourists，　with　a　total　business　income　of　368　million　yuan；　from　January　to　October　this　year，　they　have　received　more　than　700，000　tourists，　and　its　total　business　revenue　exceeded　350　million　yuan，　year－on－year　growth　of　15％　and　18％　respectively．　The　city＇s　hot　spring　tourism　industry　has　shown　a　vigorous　development　trend．

Zhang　also　said　that　this　seminar　brought　together　domestic　and　foreign　academic　research，　industry　management，　association　organizations，　scenic　spot　operators，　travel　service　providers　and　other　industry　leaders．　With　everyone＇s　collective　efforts，　it　will　certainly　provide　new　inspiration　for　the　high－quality　development　of　the　hot　spring　industry　and　inject　new　vitality　into　the　innovation　of　hot　spring　culture．　（Xianning　Daily／Wu　Wenjin）
