Xianning food and beverage industry chain cooperation matchmaking meeting was held in Beijing on November 27. At the project signing ceremony, 26 projects were signed on site, with a total contract value of 18.39 billion yuan.

The meeting aims to build a high-end cooperation platform integrating exhibition, promotion, trade negotiation, investment promotion, cooperation and exchange for food and beverage related market entities in Xianning City, to promote the negotiation between upstream and downstream enterprises, to deepen the integration of industrial and supply chains, and to support the high-quality development of an open economy.

At the meeting, Peng Bin, president of Reignwood Fast Moving Consumer Goods Group, Li Tao, vice chairman of China Beverage Industry Association, and Jiang Hongcheng, director of Oriental Enterprise Innovation and Development Center and president of Guoxin Chinese Science Research Institute, made keynote speeches respectively. At the project signing ceremony, 26 projects were signed on site, with a total contract value of 18.39 billion yuan, including 6 projects with a contract value of more than 1 billion yuan and 1 project with a contract value of more than 5 billion yuan.

In recent years, based on unique resource and location advantages, Xianning has integrated the food and beverage industry into the overall development of building a natural ecological park city in Wuhan metropolitan area. At present, the city has initially built a complete industrial chain ecosystem from tank processing and packaging design to beverage processing and product marketing. Red Bull, Genki Forest, Jinmailang, and other 600 brand products are produced in the city, with an annual output of more than 7 billion bottles. It has created a number of local characteristic brands, such as "Chibi Green Brick Tea" and "Xianning Osmanthus". In 2024, the expected revenue will exceed 50 billion yuan, a world-class beverage production base has begun to take shape, and Xianning's green resource endowment advantage is gradually transforming into an economic advantage for the development of the food and beverage industry.
