The concentrated commencement activity of major projects in the fourth quarter of 2024 was held in the Stage IV project base of Vitalink Industry (Chibi) Co.,Ltd. on Thursday morning. Zhou Feng, secretary of Xianning Municipal Party Committee, attended the activity and declared the commencement of major projects in the fourth quarter.
Yang Jun, deputy secretary of Xianning Municipal Party Committee and mayor, presided over the activity.
In the fourth quarter of this year, the city plans to start construction of 146 projects, with a total investment of 39.3 billion yuan. These major projects mainly show three characteristics. First, the industrial agglomeration has become more prominent. Focusing on the city's "5+4" modern industrial system, it has started 63 leading and emerging future industry projects including the Stage IV project base of Vitalink Industry (Chibi) Co.,Ltd. and Hope Water Xianning production base, to promote the industry to the new and win by quality. Second, the quality structure is more optimized. It will build 39 major infrastructure projects, such as Hubei-Hunan-Jiangxi Trade Logistics Center, the renovation and expansion for Tongcheng section of No.106 national road, and 79 private investment projects, including those with large scale and good quality and effect, like Jintian half steel radial tire project, Honey Spring Lake Taxus chinensis health maintenance project, which will further stimulate the vitality of private investment. Third, the project traction is more prominent. 76 projects over 100 million yuan will start construction, with a total investment of 34.95 billion yuan, accounting for 52.1% and 88.9% of the total respectively.
