Currently, Hubei Province has released 8 tourist routes with intangible culture heritage characteristics to invite visitors for a tour to explore the charm of intangible cultural heritage in the province. Chibi Zhaoliqiao brick tea, Green Brick Tea Museum and Yangloudong ancient town were selected into the eighth route: the tour for inheritance of cultural heritage in Hubei section of the Ten Thousand Li Tea Route.

Tea is a "Chinese business card" carrying history and culture. The 14,000-kilometer-long Ten Thousand Li Tea Route spreads the fragrance of Chinese tea to the rest of the world. It is not only a business channel, but also a link of cultural exchange and integration.

The predecessor of Zhaoliqiao brick tea is Yangloudong brick tea, commonly known as "dong tea". Zhaoliqiao brick tea making technology evolved from the "hat box tea" in the Ming Dynasty, and basically formed in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. The tea production has been continuing the traditional artificial pile fermentation process, suitable for people in cold areas and high-fat diet areas. Zhaoliqiao brick tea making technique was selected into the representative list of human intangible cultural heritage.

Visiting China Green Brick Tea Museum (Chibi), you can review the Ten Thousand Li Tea Route trade route, trace the evolution of green brick tea on the Ten Thousand Li Tea Route trade route, retrospect the process of application for the list of world heritage of the Ten Thousand Li Tea Route, deeply understand the long history and unique charm of Chinese tea culture, and feel the profound cultural heritage and national emotion carried by the Ten Thousand Li Tea Route.

Yangloudong ancient town has an ancient street dominated by buildings of Ming and Qing dynasties, and all the streets are paved with bluestones. The ancient street can be called the historical epitome of the development of China's tea industry. In 1996, it was listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit, and in 2002, it was listed as a provincial cultural relic key protection unit. In December 2010, Yangloudong was awarded "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Village" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Cultural Heritage Administration.
