Recently，　the　Competitiveness　Think　Tank　and　Beijing　Zhongxin　Urban　Planning　and　Design　Institute　jointly　released　the　Hubei　Township　Comprehensive　Competitiveness　Report　（2024）　to　unveil　the　list　of　Top　100　towns　with　comprehensive　competitiveness　in　Hubei，　including　7　towns　of　Xianning：　Yuyue　town　of　Jiayu　county　（ranking　17th），　Guanqiao　town　of　Jiayu　county　（ranking　21th），　Tiancheng　town　of　Chongyang　county　（ranking　61st），　Junshui　town　of　Tongcheng　county　（ranking　64th），　Guanbuqiao　town　of　Xian＇an　district　（ranking　72nd），　Panjiawan　town　of　Jiayu　county　（ranking　78th），　and　Paizhouwan　town　of　Jiayu　county　（ranking　98th）．

The　report　showed　that　the　economic　and　social　development　of　the　top　100　towns　in　Hubei　Province　has　shown　a　good　trend，　and　they　are　distributed　in　15　cities　（autonomous　prefectures，　county－level　cities，　forest　districts）．

In　order　to　reflect　the　current　situation　of　township　development　in　Hubei　Province　and　promote　high－quality　township　development　and　comprehensive　rural　revitalization，　the　Competitiveness　Think　Tank　and　the　Beijing　Zhongxin　Urban　Planning　and　Design　Institute，　together　with　relevant　units　and　experts，　formed　a　research　group　to　carry　out　research　on　the　comprehensive　competitiveness　of　townships　in　Hubei　Province．　The　report　used　the　township　data　in　2023　to　evaluate　the　comprehensive　competitiveness　of　922　townships　（excluding　sub－districts）　in　Hubei　Province　from　the　aspects　of　economic　scale，　economic　vitality　and　per　capita　level，　with　economic　development　as　the　core．　The　monitoring　and　evaluation　is　also　the　first　time　that　a　third－party　organization　has　conducted　a　＂physical　examination＂　of　townships　in　Hubei　Province．　（Xianning　Daily／Zhou　Yang）
