The　observatory　on　Thursday　issued　forecasts　of　weather　trends．　It　is　expected　that　during　the　Spring　Festival　rush　in　2025，　the　precipitation　in　Xianning　will　be　less，　and　the　temperature　will　be　higher，　with　four　cold　air　processes，　accompanied　by　rain　and　snow．

January　14　to　February　22　is　China＇s　Spring　Festival　travel　period，　with　a　total　of　40　days．　During　that　period，　the　Siberian　high　pressure　and　the　East　Asian　winter　monsoon　are　weak，　and　the　cold　air　and　water　vapor　are　weak　as　a　whole．　However，　in　late　January　to　early　February，　they　will　be　gradually　stronger．　It＇s　expected　that　during　the　Spring　Festival　rush，　the　precipitation　in　Xianning　will　be　less，　and　the　temperature　will　be　higher，　with　obvious　changes　in　temperature，　and　periodic　rain　and　snow　weather　processes．

There　are　four　cold　air　processes　during　the　Spring　Festival　travel　rush　this　year，　which　appear　in　the　middle　of　late　January，　the　end　of　January　to　the　beginning　of　February，　the　end　of　early　February　and　the　end　of　the　middle　of　February．　There　will　be　two　cold　air　processes　accompanied　by　rain　and　snow　at　late　mid－January　and　late　January　to　early　February．　However，　a　process　similar　to　the　extreme　cold　rain　and　snow　in　February　2024　is　less　likely．

The　meteorological　department　reminded　that　from　late　January　to　early　February，　there　are　periodic　rain　and　snow　weather，　which　is　the　peak　time　for　returning　home　before　the　festival　and　the　Spring　Festival　holiday，　therefore，　the　public　needs　to　guard　against　adverse　effects　on　traffic　safety　and　energy　supply．　The　atmosphere　is　generally　stable　in　the　middle　of　January，　and　it　is　easy　to　be　affected　by　fireworks　during　the　Spring　Festival．　So　it＇s　necessary　to　pay　attention　to　the　impact　of　fog　and　haze　on　traffic　and　human　health．　During　the　period，　the　temperature　is　higher　and　the　precipitation　is　less，　with　higher　risk　of　forest　fire．　During　the　Spring　Festival，　the　use　of　fire　in　sacrifice　will　increase，　and　it＇s　necessary　to　strengthen　forest　fire　prevention．　（Xianning　Daily／Wu　Qingpeng）
