＂Go　back　to　the　source　and　inherit　change：　Xianning　Xiangyang　Lake　art　phenomenon　research　exhibition＂　opened　in　Xianning　Art　Museum　on　January　16．　The　＂Beauty　of　Xianning＂　painted　by　a　group　of　Beijing　artists　half　a　century　ago　debuted　in　Xianning　Art　Museum．

With　the　theme　of　＂Go　back　to　the　source　and　inherit　change＂，　more　than　150　originals　and　copies　of　paintings，　letters，　manuscripts　and　photographs　were　exhibited．　Through　the　combination　of　painting　works，　graphic　display　board　and　oral　video　presentation，　the　exhibition　tries　to　reappear　the　art　history　of　Xiangyang　Lake　objectively　by　three　sections：　＂tracing　to　the　source　－　production　and　life，　creation　and　display＂，　＂inheriting　change　－　interaction　and　exchange，　inheritance　and　new　appearance＂　and　＂picking　up　the　relics　of　Xiangyang　Lake＂．　At　the　same　time，　it＇s　also　intended　to　drive　a　wider　range　of　experts，　scholars，　professional　institutions　and　people　in　the　art　world　to　pay　attention　to　Xiangyang　Lake，　and　then　participate　in　the　cultural　practice　of　jointly　exploring　the　humanistic　connotation　and　social　value　of　Xiangyang　Lake　in　Xianning．

These　art　works　born　in　the　special　historical　period　and　social　environment　show　extraordinary　valuable　value　with　sincere，　simple　and　warm　artistic　temperament．　The　content　of　the　works　also　depends　on　the　artist＇s　personality　and　spirit　and　the　artist＇s　different　attitude　and　angle　of　social　life．　Some　show　the　trace　of　ordinary　life，　some　depict　the　scenery　of　mountains，　lakes　and　seas，　and　some　write　the　spirit　of　The　Times，　embodying　the　＂Beauty　of　Xianning＂．

＂These　artists　took　root　in　Xiangyang　Lake　and　created　works　that　integrated　into　their　own　lives　and　were　very　real　art，＂　said　Fan　Feng，　former　curator　of　Wuhan　Art　Museum．

The　exhibition　runs　from　January　16　to　April　15．　After　the　completion　of　the　first　exhibition　in　the　city，　it　will　also　tour　the　Hubei　Academy　of　Fine　Arts　Art　Museum　and　Shiyan　Art　Museum　respectively．　（Xianning　Daily／Wang　Xinzhuo）
