Xian＇an　district　carried　out　the　artificial　enhancement　and　releasing　activity　in　the　Futou　Lake　on　March　14th．

At　about　10　a．m．，　six　trucks　filled　with　fish　fry　arrived　at　the　event　scene．　The　staff　began　a　series　of　inspections　of　the　fry．　After　the　quality　inspection　procedure，　the　fry　were　put　into　the　water　one　by　one，　and　the　lively　fry　were　happily　integrated　into　the　waters　of　the　Futou　Lake．　The　whole　process　was　supervised　by　the　staff　of　the　municipal　notary　office．

The　fish　species　of　this　activity　are　large　size　fish　（more　than　10cm），　including　silver　carp　and　bighead　carp　（spotted　silver　carp），　a　total　of　500，000　fry　（71，000　kilograms）．　The　fish　feed　mainly　on　phytoplankton　and　zooplankton．　They　inhabit　the　upper　waters，　which　can　promote　the　balance　of　the　water　ecosystem　while　ensuring　the　safety　of　water　quality．

According　to　the　staff　of　Xian＇an　District　Bureau　of　Agriculture　and　Rural　Affairs，　since　the　implementation　of　artificial　enhancement　and　releasing　activities　in　2009，　after　tireless　efforts，　the　water　resources　in　the　district　have　been　continuously　optimized　and　the　water　ecological　environment　has　been　continuously　improved，　which　has　played　a　good　role　in　promoting　the　city＇s　water　biodiversity，　optimizing　the　water　structure　and　building　ecological　civilization．　（Xianning　Daily／Zhang　Huan　and　Chen　Hongju）
