The　good　news　came　from　the　fourth　geological　group　of　Hubei　Geological　Bureau　that　they　found　high－quality　geothermal　resources　in　the　third　geothermal　well　constructed　in　Shiquan　Village，　Gaotieling　Town，　Jiayu　County　on　March　24．　The　depth　of　the　well　is　2400.8　meters，　and　the　water　temperature　of　the　wellhead　is　73.1℃．　It　is　the　geothermal　well　with　the　highest　water　outlet　temperature　in　the　middle　and　deep　geothermal　exploration　in　Hubei　Province　so　far．

This　geothermal　well　belongs　to　Shiquan　geothermal　resources　exploration　project　in　Jiayu　County，　which　is　built　by　the　fourth　geological　group．　The　project　has　designed　and　constructed　3　geothermal　wells，　all　of　which　have　been　completed．　The　measured　water　inflow　of　this　geothermal　well　is　1，054　cubic　meters　per　day，　and　it　is　rich　in　trace　elements，　which　is　of　great　development　value．　The　two　geothermal　wells　previously　constructed　had　a　wellhead　water　temperature　of　65.3℃　and　68.8℃　respectively，　which　twice　broke　the　water　temperature　record　of　the　city＇s　middle　and　deep　geothermal　exploration．

Relying　on　rich　geothermal　resources　and　excellent　ecological　environment，　Jiayu　has　continued　to　promote　the　deep　integration　of　hot　spring　resources　with　big　ecology，　big　health　and　big　tourism．　The　＂hot　spring　＋＂　industry　was　cultivated　into　an　important　supporting　industry　for　the　cultural　tourism　industry　and　the　large　health　industry．　Repeated　exploration　of　high－quality　geothermal　resources　is　of　great　significance　to　the　development　of　local　industries．

In　recent　years，　the　fourth　geological　group　has　actively　played　its　professional　and　technical　advantages　and　carried　out　more　than　20　geothermal　resource　exploration　projects　in　the　province，　repeatedly　refreshing　provincial　and　municipal　records．

The　development　of　these　projects　has　further　identified　the　conditions　of　geothermal　resources，　continued　to　promote　the　exploration　and　development　and　utilization　of　geothermal　energy，　and　achieved　a　number　of　influential　major　results，　providing　clean　energy　support　for　the　green，　low－carbon　and　high－quality　development　of　the　city．

The　group　will　continue　to　carry　out　in－depth　research　and　field　tests，　and　plans　to　build　the　first　middle－deep　geothermal　industry－university－research　field　test　research　platform　and　development　and　utilization　demonstration　platform　in　southern　Hubei　Province．　（Xianning　Daily／Zhang　Huan）
