Li　Li，　member　of　the　Standing　Committee　of　the　Xianning　Municipal　Committee　of　the　CPC　and　executive　vice　mayor，　on　Saturday　afternoon　met　with　HA　SUNG　JU，　Consul　General　of　South　Korea　in　Wuhan，　who　will　participate　in　the　2025　Xianning　Marathon．

Li　Li　extended　a　warm　welcome　to　Consul　General　HA　SUNG　JU　and　his　wife，　and　introduced　the　economic　and　social　development　of　Xianning．　She　said　that　Xianning　has　obvious　geographical　advantages，　good　ecological　background，　and　rich　resource　endowment，　with　characteristic　industry　cluster　achieved　the　certain　scale．　At　present，　Xianning　is　speeding　up　the　construction　of　the　＂5＋4＂　modern　industrial　system，　so　as　to　make　massive　health，　equipment　manufacturing，　food　and　beverage，　new　building　materials，　cultural　tourism　and　other　leading　industrial　clusters　bigger　and　stronger，　and　to　make　breakthroughs　in　emerging　future　industries　such　as　electronic　information，　biomedicine，　new　materials，　and　green　energy．　The　city　hopes　to　take　this　marathon　as　a　bridge　to　continue　to　deepen　exchanges　and　cooperation　in　such　areas　as　industrial　complementarities　and　the　integration　of　business，　culture，　tourism　and　sports，　and　to　achieve　practical　results　and　win－win　development．

Participating　the　marathon　in　Xianning，　HA　SUNG　JU　felt　the　beautiful　ecological　environment，　profound　cultural　heritage，　and　warm　and　friendly　people，　which　was　very　impressive．　He　said　that　the　Consulate　General　of　the　Republic　of　Korea　in　Wuhan　will　play　an　active　role　as　a　bridge，　building　a　platform　for　the　exchanges　and　cooperation　between　the　two　sides　in　industrial　development，　culture，　tourism，　economy　and　trade　and　other　fields，　so　as　to　promote　friendly　exchanges　between　the　two　places．　（Xianning　Daily／Xia　Zhengfeng）
