Recently，　the　Ministry　of　Culture　and　Tourism　released　the　list　of　selected　and　funded　personnel　for　the　2024　Rural　Culture　and　Tourism　Leading　Figures　Support　Project，　including　Xu　Zifu　from　Tongcheng　Gaochong　Commune　Tourism　Development　Co．，　Ltd．

As　an　entrepreneur　returning　to　his　hometown　to　start　a　business，　Xu　began　to　develop　Gaochong　Commune　scenic　area　in　2018；　established　the　Agricultural　Professional　Cooperative　of　Gaochong　People＇s　Commune，　Tongcheng　County　in　2019　and　Tongcheng　Gaochong　Commune　Tourism　Development　Co．，　Ltd．　in　2024．

The　scenic　area　is　planned　to　cover　an　area　of　700　mu　and　is　expected　to　invest　150　million　yuan．　In　combination　with　the　development　of　beautiful　villages　in　Gaochong，　the　old　site　of　Gaochong　Commune，　the　commune　canteen，　the　commune　auditorium，　the　commune　homestay　area　and　the　commune　commercial　street　will　be　restored　and　rebuilt．　After　more　than　five　years　of　efforts，　an　investment　of　40　million　yuan　has　been　completed　so　far．　The　old　site　of　Gaochong　Commune，　which　had　been　idle　for　decades，　was　comprehensively　restored　and　renovated，　and　＂five　houses　and　two　corridors＂　were　built．　As　a　base　for　patriotic　education，　a　practice　base　for　red　revolutionary　history，　a　base　for　youth　study　tours，　a　base　for　the　inheritance　and　education　of　the　history　of　the　Communist　Party　of　China　and　the　country，　a　base　for　traditional　culture　experience　and　a　base　for　artistic　creation　training，　it　has　become　a　must－visit　destination　for　rural　tourism．

At　present，　this　scenic　area　has　been　rated　as　a　2A－level　tourist　attraction　by　the　Xianning　Municipal　Bureau　of　Culture　and　Tourism．　It　receives　over　200，000　tourists　annually　and　achieves　a　comprehensive　business　income　of　more　than　3　million　yuan．　It　has　created　36　new　jobs　and　helped　more　than　130　local　villagers　realize　flexible　employment，　driving　the　development　of　related　industries　such　as　catering，　homestays　and　agricultural　and　sideline　products　at　the　same　time．　（Xianning　Daily／Ding　Wei）
