In　order　to　commemorate　the　78th　＂World　Red　Cross　Day＂，　2025　Xianning　＂Red　Cross　Charity　Week＂　themed　＂Be　committed　to　humanity，　walk　hand　in　hand＂，　hosted　by　Xianning　Red　Cross　Society，　was　officially　launched　at　Xianning　Vocational　Technical　College　on　Thursday．　Mao　Xiujun，　deputy　director　of　the　Standing　Committee　of　the　Xianning　Municipal　People＇s　Congress，　attended　the　launching　ceremony　and　awarded　the　certificates　to　the　first　batch　of　four－star　Red　Cross　volunteers　in　the　city．　Gao　Huanqing，　secretary　of　Xianning　Vocational　Technical　College　Party　Committee，　and　Chen　Hongwei，　president　of　Xianning　Vocational　Technical　College，　attended　the　activity．

The　list　of　hematopoietic　stem　cell　donation　volunteers　who　were　commended　and　rewarded　as　＂Advanced　Individuals　for　Bravery＂　in　Xian＇an　District　in　2025　was　announced　at　the　event　site．　The　staff　from　Xianning　Red　Cross　Society　carried　out　popular　science　lectures　on　voluntary　blood　donation，　hematopoietic　stem　cell　donation　and　human　organ　donation　for　the　teachers　and　students，　encouraging　everyone　to　light　the　＂fire　of　life＂　for　patients　with　blood　diseases　and　organ　transplants．

After　the　launching　ceremony，　Xianning　Vocational　Technical　College　organized　teachers　and　students　to　voluntarily　participate　in　voluntary　blood　donation　and　the　registration　and　collection　of　hematopoietic　stem　cells　and　human　organ　donations．　As　of　12：00　noon　on　that　day，　214　people　had　participated　in　voluntary　blood　donation，　with　a　total　blood　donation　volume　of　63，600　milliliters．　（Xianning　Daily／Ruan　Zhiyu）
