On　the　morning　of　June　20th，　the　Xiaoling　Toll　Station　of　Xianning－Tongshan　Expressway　located　in　Liukou　Town，　Chongyang　County　was　officially　opened　to　traffic，　marking　the　official　operation　of　the　important　branch　line　of　the　fifth　east－west　line　in　Hubei　Province＇s　framework　road　network　of　＂six　south－north　lines，　five　east－west　lines　and　one　circle　line＂．　It　will　unblock　the　surrounding　logistics　arteries　and　become　a　key　node　for　connecting　industrial　clusters　and　activating　the　regional　economy．

The　toll　station　is　equipped　with　two　entry　and　two　exit　mixed　lanes　and　adopts　a　full－lane　ultra－wide　planning　implementation　method．　It　has　significantly　improved　the　local　transportation　network　layout　and　brought　more　efficient　and　smooth　travel　experiences　to　freight　and　passenger　vehicles．　Drivers　passing　by　have　all　expressed　that　the　ultra－wide　lanes　have　effectively　reduced　the　waiting　time　for　large　vehicles　to　enter　and　exit　the　station．　Whether　it　is　a　heavy　truck　fully　loaded　with　goods　or　a　bus　on　the　local　village　road，　they　can　all　pass　through　the　toll　station　quickly　and　conveniently，　effectively　improving　the　traffic　efficiency．

According　to　Zhang　Huijun，　president　of　Hubei　Zhongjiao　Xiantong　Expressway　Co．，Ltd．，　the　＂green　channel＂　will　be　opened　simultaneously　to　optimize　the　transportation　efficiency　of　agricultural　products　and　facilitate　the　marketing　of　Chongyang＇s　characteristic　industries　such　as　bamboo　and　tea．　The　project　has　also　formed　a　network　linkage　with　the　surrounding　rural　roads，　becoming　a　physical　bond　for　consolidating　and　expanding　the　achievements　of　poverty　alleviation　and　promoting　rural　revitalization．　（Xianning　Daily／Wang　Simin）
