The　first　event　themed　＂popular　foil　color　painting＂　of　＂Cultivating　children　with　art－－Xianning　Family　Aesthetic　Education　Program＂　（a　series　of　public　education　activities）　was　held　in　Xianning　Museum　of　Art　on　July　20．　15　families　jointly　stepped　into　the　brilliant　world　of　foil　painting，　experiencing　the　oriental　aesthetic　charm　of　the　integration　of　gold　foil，　silver　foil　and　traditional　painting．

The　specially　invited　teacher　Zhou　Mo　introduced　the　culture　of　foil　burning　and　key　points　of　techniques　to　the　parent－child　families　present　through　PPT　and　physical　demonstrations．

In　front　of　the　long　table，　children　held　their　breath　in　deep　concentration，　pasting　the　metal　foil　as　thin　as　a　cicada＇s　wing　onto　the　cardstock．　Under　the　guidance　of　the　teacher，　children　and　their　parents　jointly　drew　the　outline　of　osmanthus　and　bamboo　with　elements　of　Xianning，　and　carefully　embed　the　fired　gold　foil　into　the　painting．　These　paintings　were　resplendent　and　colorful　under　the　sunlight．

The　event　is　targeted　at　families　of　primary　and　secondary　school　students　in　the　urban　area．　Each　public　education　activity　is　planned　to　recruit　15　to　20　families．　Outstanding　works　will　be　displayed　on　the　WeChat　official　account　of　the　Xianning　Museum　of　Art．　There　is　also　a　chance　to　directly　enter　the　final　of　the　annual　Xianning　Youth　Calligraphy　and　Painting　Competition．　The　person　in　charge　of　the　public　education　publicity　department　of　the　Xianning　Museum　of　Art　said，　＂In　the　future，　a　series　of　activities　such　as　in－depth　experiences　of　traditional　craftsmanship　and　immersive　experiences　of　festival　culture　will　be　launched　successively．＂　（Xianning　Daily／Wang　Xinzhuo）
