The　Urban　Study　in　Chibi　Library　was　officially　open　to　the　public　on　August　1st，　and　a　unique　picture　book　handicraft　parent－child　activity　kicked　off．

Entering　the　urban　study，　the　wooden　bookshelves　and　the　warm　yellow　lighting　complement　each　other　beautifully，　where　Wang　Tao，　head　of　the　Reading　Promotion　Department　of　Chibi　Library，　was　leading　students　and　parents　to　immerse　themselves　in　the　joy　of　parent－child　reading　and　handicraft　making．　Everyone＇s　fingertips　were　nimble，　folding　various　shapes　with　colored　paper，　and　laughter　and　joy　never　ceased．　Wang　said　that　such　picture　book　and　handicraft　activities　are　held　at　least　three　to　four　times　a　week　in　the　main　library．　This　time，　choosing　to　make　its　debut　in　the　urban　study　aims　to　let　more　citizens　know　about　this　new　space，　break　the　limitations　of　the　main　library，　and　provide　diverse　reading　venues．

The　urban　study　was　transformed　from　the　flagship　store　of　Chibi　Tea，　which　was　originally　located　in　Chibi　Gymnasium．　In　a　space　of　over　300　square　meters，　books　of　various　categories　such　as　social　sciences，　literature　and　children＇s　books　are　displayed　in　a　staggered　manner，　and　the　unique　atmosphere　of　＂the　fragrance　of　books　and　tea＂　has　attracted　many　citizens．　Here，　citizens　can　order　a　pot　of　aged　black　brick　tea　or　enjoy　a　cup　of　new－style　tea　drink，　reading　quietly　with　the　lingering　aroma　of　tea　to　enjoy　a　pleasant　and　refreshing　summer　time．　＂Here，　you　can　enjoy　delicious　drinks，　make　new　friends，　and　also　join　the　interesting　picture　book　and　handicraft　activities；　it＇s　particularly　fun，＂　reader　Ouyang　Chengle　said　happily．

The　urban　study　and　Chibi　Library　realize　inter－borrowing　and　inter－returning　as　well　as　resource　sharing．　The　opening　hours　are　from　9：00　to　21：00　every　day．　The　coverage　of　public　cultural　services　will　be　further　expanded，　allowing　the　fragrance　of　books　to　permeate　the　daily　lives　of　more　citizens．　（Xianning　Daily／Jian　Bo）
