On　September　7th，　the　two－day　chess　competition　of　the　first　series　of　national　fitness　events　in　Tongcheng　County　in　2025　came　to　a　successful　conclusion．　After　intense　competition，　the　Chinese　chess　group　and　the　Go　group　each　produced　three　champions，　runners－up　and　third－place　winners．

This　competition　features　two　events：　Chinese　chess　and　Go．　It　has　attracted　110　Chinese　chess　enthusiasts　and　22　Go　enthusiasts　from　various　units　across　the　county　to　participate．　The　competition　was　held　from　September　6th　to　7th，　with　a　total　of　7　rounds，　all　of　which　were　individual　events．

In　the　competition，　the　chess　players　were　fully　concentrated　and　the　atmosphere　was　tense　and　lively．　Among　the　contestants，　there　are　both　seasoned　chess　enthusiasts　who　have　been　deeply　involved　in　the　game　for　many　years　and　emerging　young　players．　Three　generations，　the　old，　the　middle－aged　and　the　young，　competed　on　the　same　stage，　vividly　demonstrating　the　vigorous　vitality　of　the　chess　sports　in　Tongcheng　County　being　passed　down　from　generation　to　generation．

The　successful　holding　of　this　eventhas　built　a　platform　for　citizens　to　showcase　themselves．　Taking　＂national　fitness＂　as　a　link，　it　also　will　promote　the　popularization　and　development　of　chess　culture　and　stimulate　the　enthusiasm　of　the　masses　to　actively　participate　in　various　competitions，　injecting　new　vitality　into　enriching　the　spiritual　and　cultural　life　of　residents　in　the　county　and　creating　a　healthy　and　positive　social　atmosphere．　（Xianning　Daily／Ding　Wei）
