Recently，　the　first　artificial　intelligence　water　quality　monitoring　laboratory　in　Hubei　Province　was　completed　at　the　Xianning　Ecological　Environment　Monitoring　Center．　It　has　now　entered　the　equipment　debugging　stage　and　is　expected　to　be　officially　put　into　use　by　the　end　of　this　month．　This　laboratory　is　a　key　component　of　the　water　environment　supervision　capacity　building　project　in　the　Futou　Lake　Basin，　which　marks　an　important　step　forward　for　the　transformation　of　surface　water　monitoring　in　Hubei　Province　towards　intelligence　and　automation．

This　AI　water　quality　monitoring　laboratory　can　automatically　detect　nearly　20　factors　of　routine　indicators　and　heavy　metals　in　surface　water，　and　has　the　ability　to　operate　continuously　for　24　hours．　Through　the　full－process　intelligent　operation　of　automatic　sample　feeding，　automatic　analysis，　automatic　quality　control　and　automatic　report　generation，　the　detection　efficiency　has　been　increased　by　more　than　three　times　compared　with　the　traditional　manual　method，　significantly　enhancing　the　output　efficiency　and　accuracy　of　monitoring　data．

The　relevant　person　in　charge　of　the　Xianning　Ecological　Environment　Monitoring　Center　said　that　this　intelligent　monitoring　platform　not　only　liberates　monitoring　personnel　from　repetitive　labor，　enabling　them　to　focus　more　on　professional　tasks　such　as　data　analysis　and　quality　control，　but　also　provides　technical　support　and　personnel　training　for　monitoring　institutions　in　counties，　districts　and　cities．

In　the　future，　this　laboratory　will　serve　the　water　quality　monitoring　work　throughout　the　city．　By　optimizing　resource　allocation　and　enhancing　monitoring　efficiency，　it　provides　practical　experience　for　the　modernization　of　the　provincial　ecological　environment　monitoring　system．　（Xianning　Daily／Chen　Zhiru）
