Huazhong　Health　Beverage　R＆D　Center　jointly　established　by　Xianning　High－tech　Industry　Development　Co．，　Ltd．　and　Genki　Forest　（Beijing）　Food　Technology　Group　Co．，　Ltd．　officially　started　operation　on　March　30th．　Yang　Jun，　deputy　secretary　of　the　Xianning　Municipal　Committee　of　the　CPC　and　mayor，　Tang　Binsen，　founder　of　Genki　Forest，　and　Zhu　Bideng，　executive　director　of　Genki　Forest，　attended　the　launching　ceremony．

The　Huazhong　Health　Beverage　R＆D　Center　has　a　total　investment　of　200　million　yuan　and　integrates　beverage　culture　popularization，　industrial　data　services，　new　product　release　incubation，　and　R＆D　pilot　production　transformation．　It　is　one　of　the　few　professional　health　drink　research　and　development　service　platforms　in　China　that　is　led　by　the　government　and　deeply　involved　in　the　operation　by　leading　beverage　brand　research　institutes．　Its　＂popular　science　＋　experiment　＋　pilot　production＂　model　is　also　the　first　of　its　kind　in　the　country　and　the　world＇s　first　comprehensive　innovation　platform　for　health　beverages　that　covers　the　entire　process　of　＂creativity　－　research　and　development　－　mass　production＂．

As　a　key　core　platform　for　scientific　and　technological　innovation　in　the　city，　the　center　has　established　the　first　comprehensive　health　beverage　science　popularization　base　in　China，　with　functions　covering　science　popularization　and　education，　industry　data　release，　new　product　display　and　promotion，　etc．　The　base　has　established　the　only　national　public　service　laboratory　for　the　research　and　development　of　new　beverage　products　of　Genki　Forest，　equipped　with　over　200　professional　R＆D　devices，　covering　the　research　and　development　and　small－scale　trial　stages　of　various　beverages，　which　can　quickly　turn　creative　ideas　into　reality　and　produce　samples．　Meanwhile，　it　has　the　most　comprehensive　and　flexible　beverage　pilot　production　base　in　the　country．　The　monthly　production　capacity　of　the　high－speed　bottling　production　line　can　reach　500，000　cases，　meeting　the　requirements　of　full－category　and　full－process　pilot　production．　It　can　break　through　the　key　chain　from　R＆D　to　industrialization，　shorten　the　cycle　of　new　product　launches，　and　help　enterprises　reduce　costs，　increase　efficiency，　and　accelerate　innovation．

In　recent　years，　the　city　has　been　committed　to　the　development　goal　of　a　100－billion－yuan　big　health　industry．　Focusing　on　the　beverage　industry，　it　has　promoted　development　with　an　industrial　mindset　and　cultivated　an　ecosystem　with　a　cluster　concept，　continuously　strengthening，　supplementing　and　extending　the　industrial　chain．　It　has　gathered　over　600　well－known　domestic　and　international　brands　such　as　Genki　Forest，　Red　Bull，　Jinmailang　and　ORG，　and　has　built　a　complete　industrial　chain　integrating　R＆D，　production，　packaging，　testing　and　sales．　The　cluster　effect　of　the　industry　has　been　continuously　strengthened　in　Xianning　and　it　is　accelerating　its　progress　towards　becoming　a　world－class　beverage　production　base．　The　official　opening　of　the　Huazhong　Health　Beverage　R＆D　Center　marks　a　solid　and　crucial　step　forward　for　the　city　in　terms　of　technological　innovation，　industrial　agglomeration，　and　cross－border　integration　in　the　health　beverage　industry．
