Recently，　the　Speed　Roller　Skating　Competition　of　the　2026　Hubei　Youth　Games　＆　Hubei　Youth　Speed　Roller　Skating　Championship　concluded　in　Yichang　City．　The　roller　skating　team　of　Xianning　City　performed　outstandingly，　winning　4　gold　medals，　7　silver　medals　and　5　bronze　medals，　demonstrating　the　strong　competitive　strength　of　the　youth　roller　skating　events．

This　event　was　hosted　by　the　Hubei　Provincial　Sports　Bureau　and　the　Department　of　Education　of　Hubei　Province，　and　organized　by　the　People＇s　Government　of　Yichang　City．　It　is　a　major　annual　event　for　youth　roller　skating　in　the　province．　The　competition　was　divided　into　6　age　groups　and　46　events，　attracting　11　teams　from　across　the　province　and　over　260　roller　skaters　to　compete　on　the　same　stage．

The　current　Hubei　Youth　Games　featured　12　major　events　including　diving，　swimming，　tennis，　weightlifting　and　roller　skating，　as　well　as　668　minor　events．　The　event　will　last　from　March　to　July，　with　over　5，000　teenagers　from　17　cities　and　prefectures　across　the　province　participating，　setting　an　unprecedented　scale．　On　the　competition　field，　the　young　roller　skaters　from　Xianning　were　bold　and　tenacious．　The　start，　acceleration　and　overtaking　in　the　corner　were　all　seamless．　In　the　speed　and　endurance　events　of　various　age　groups，　they　achieved　remarkable　success　and　frequently　stood　on　the　podium，　fully　demonstrating　their　solid　skills　and　tenacious　willpower．

In　recent　years，　the　city　has　deepened　the　integration　of　sports　and　education，　and　regularly　carried　out　activities　such　as　roller　skating　entering　schools．　Through　methods　such　as　using　competitions　as　training，　the　athletes＇　competitive　abilities　on　the　field　have　been　continuously　strengthened，　and　the　rich　competition　experience　has　been　accumulated　for　participating　in　the　roller　skating　competition　of　the　current　Hubei　Youth　Games．　（Xianning　Daily／Wu　Qingpeng）
