On　May　23rd，　the　2026　Xianning　Youth　Chess　League，themed　＂Running，　Boys＂，　came　to　an　end　at　Xianning　Experimental　Foreign　Languages　School．This　event　was　co－hosted　by　the　Xianning　Sports　Development　Center　and　the　Xianning　Municipal　Education　Bureau，　organized　by　Xianning　Experimental　Foreign　Languages　School，　and　co－organized　by　the　Xianning　Sports　Reserve　Talents　Chess　Training　Base．

The　competition　was　participated　in　by　school　teams，　effectively　expanding　the　coverage　of　youth　participation．　A　total　of　20　schools，　300　contestants　and　their　team　leaders　from　the　whole　city　participated　in　the　competition．　The　competition　offered　two　major　categories：　Go　and　Chinese　chess，　and　is　divided　into　multiple　competition　groups　based　on　gender　and　age．　The　entire　process　was　officiated　impartially　in　accordance　with　the　rules　of　professional　chess　events．

At　the　competition　site，　the　young　chess　players　remained　calm　and　composed，　thinking　carefully．　Playing　the　game　calmly　on　the　small　chessboard，　they　fully　demonstrated　an　enterprising　spirit　and　proficient　chess　skills．　After　several　rounds　of　intense　competition，　the　top　three　teams　in　the　Go　competition　were　Xianning　Experimental　Primary　School，　Xianning　Experimental　Foreign　Languages　School，　and　Yuquan　Campus　of　Xianning　Experimental　Foreign　Languages　School．　The　top　three　teams　in　the　Chinese　chess　category　were　Xianning　Experimental　Foreign　Languages　School，　Xianning　Experimental　Primary　School　and　Xianning　Country　Garden　School．

This　league　was　a　key　event　for　youth　sports　in　the　city．　It　not　only　promoted　the　popularization　of　chess　but　also　provided　a　platform　for　young　chess　players　to　exchange　and　compete．　The　event　simultaneously　selected　outstanding　players．　The　top　three　in　each　event　will　be　included　in　the　municipal　chess　reserve　talent　pool　to　prepare　for　the　provincial　games　and　various　provincial　chess　events．　（Xianning　Daily／Cheng　Pianruo）
