The　final　of　the　9th　＂Xian＇an　Story　Competition＂　was　held　on　June　10th．　18　teams　and　over　20　contestants　competed　on　the　same　stage，　telling　and　conveying　the　new　trends　of　The　Times　with　true　feelings．

The　competition　site　was　full　of　excitement．　From　focusing　on　rural　revitalization　to　exploring　local　red　culture，　from　promoting　clean　rural　customs　to　showcasing　green　ecology，　the　contestants　from　18　teams　vividly　presented　the　new　changes　in　the　high－quality　development　of　Xian＇an　through　various　forms　such　as　personal　narratives，　stage　plays，　scene　plays　and　recitations．

After　a　fierce　competition，　contestant　No．　15，　Wu　Xingxing，　won　the　first　prize．　She　moved　the　entire　audience　with　＂Greatness　in　the　Ordinary＂，　telling　the　touching　stories　of　ordinary　people　such　as　a　centenarian　veteran　of　the　Korean　War，　an　80－year－old　peasant　woman　guarding　a　tomb，　and　a　female　craftsman　with　deep　emotion，　which　profoundly　interpreted　the　most　touching　spiritual　essence　of　the　Xian＇an　land．

According　to　a　relevant　official　from　the　Publicity　Department　of　Xian＇an　District　Party　Committee，　the　event　aims　to　guide　young　cadres　to　establish　and　practice　a　correct　view　of　political　achievements，　convey　positive　energy　that　is　upward，　virtuous　and　beautiful，　inspire　the　enthusiasm　of　cadres　and　the　masses　in　the　entire　district　to　start　businesses　and　do　things，　and　gather　the　strength　to　strive　for　the　accelerated　construction　of　a　leading　demonstration　area　of　an　important　growth　pole　for　green　development　in　the　Wuhan　Metropolitan　Area．　（Xianning　Daily／Chen　Zhiru）
